April Vacation Youth Makers Camp

Engine’s Makers Camp invites curious, aspiring young artists, designers, engineers, and scientists ages 7-11 to think, explore, and create outside the box. Our maker education emphasizes the act of hands-on experimentation; thinking, tinkering, learning how and why things work through a series of fun and creative projects that promote innovation and creativity. Engine’s S.T.E.A.M. initiative combines science, technology, engineering, art, and math into one balanced week of activities to inspire a well-rounded maker.

This April Vacation program will include projects in urban foraging and outdoor exploration, 3d printing and fabrication, engineering challenges, and making your own paint! More details about each day below.

Monday: Science and Art

Tuesday: Science to Technology

Wednesday: Technology, Music, Art and More: Makey Makey and 3D Printing

Thursday: Art: Painting, Indoors and Out

Friday: Math! Engineering! Art!
