Kittery Art Association Show: Food for Thought

Food for Thought, the new Kittery Art Association all-member show opens on November 9, 2017. Food for Thought runs from November 9, 2017 through December 3, the opening reception is Sunday, November 12 from 4 – 6 p.m. Admission to the show and the reception is free.
The featured spotlight artist for this show is William Brewster, watercolorist. Brewster studied with Carol Morley for drawing, and DeWitt Hardy, and Dustan Knight for watercolor. His artist’s statement reads in part: “To date, I have concentrated on landscapes especially those including some architecture… Art has taught me to look at what is right in front of me, to look and really see… Art absorbs my attention and provides space away from the busyness of the world.”
Kittery Art Association is located at 8 Coleman Avenue, Kittery Point, ME. The gallery features the work of Seacoast artists in monthly shows, and sponsors a popular Music Series by local performers. We welcome new members and art appreciators of all ages. We sponsor poetry readings, figure study sessions, and plein air outings plus special interest groups. Come join us!
