Maine Crime Authors James Hayman and Bruce Robert Coffin to Appear at Lithgow Library on Wednesday, January 17, at 6:30 p.m.

Lithgow Library begins the New Year with a Meet the Author event in its Community Room, featuring Maine Crime Authors, James Hayman and Bruce Robert Coffin. The authors’ books will be available for purchase and for signing immediately following their presentation.

Bruce Robert Coffin retired from the Portland, Maine police department after more than twenty-seven years in law enforcement. Following the terrorist attacks of 9/11 he worked for four years with the FBI. He was a featured author in Houghton Mifflin Harcourt’s Best American Mystery Stories 2016. Bruce’s debut novel, Among The Shadows, and his follow-up, Beneath the Depths, the first two novels in the John Byron Mystery Series, have been well-received by fans and critics alike.

James Hayman is the New York Times bestselling author of the McCabe and Savage thrillers – The Cutting, The Chill of Night, Darkness First, and The Girl in the Glass, which combined have sold more than half a million copies. His series’ protagonist, Detective Sergeant Michael McCabe, leaves New York City and flees to Maine, seeking a safe place to raise his daughter, only to be greeted by a horrific killer on the loose in Southern Maine.
