Nokomis Lights Camera Action

Join Nokomis Lights Camera Action for A Day Like No Other….
The 2nd Annual Lights, Camera & Action at Nokomis High School, Newport, ME offers a full day of workshops, rehearsals & an evening performance. Students are taught by qualified & enthusiastic instructors on a wide variety of fun topics. Gr. K-3 will have a program targeted for young participants. Gr. 4-12 choose workshops early in February for FIVE hours of workshop training and fun. FOUR additional hours of rehearsal and performance are included.

Workshops include possibilities such as: Art, Archery, Pottery, Basketball, Writing, Beginning Guitar, Dance, Lacrosse, Computer Technology, Jazz, Photography, “Chopped Competition”, Broadcasting, Dog Agility, Ballet, Solar Technology, Stage Craft, Dance, Horse Care, Knitting, Music and Magic….

Students REGISTER NOW. Choose Workshops early in FEBRUARY. Scholarships are available on our website.
All activities take place at Nokomis Regional High, Newport, Maine. Thursday, February 22rd (Snow Date 2/23)
Grades K-12. (K-3 8am-1pm) (4-12 8am-9pm) Doors Open at 7:30am. Classes Begin 8:00am.
Gr. K-3 will conclude with a performance at lunch. Gr. 4-12 will conclude with “Cast Party,” an evening performance at Nokomis High School involving workshop participants and special guests. “Cast Party” Performance will begin at 7:00pm. Recommended Donation to watch the performance is $3/person.
Lunch and Dinner (and your T-shirt costume) are included in your registration fee. You may also pack a lunch and dinner. No nuts please. Gluten free choices will be available.
