  • Sourdough bread with herb butter is passed down the table, during the performative meal put on by Myron Beasley's Food, Culture, and Performance class, in partner ship with Gloria Varney at Nezinscot Farm. The menu for the evening consisted of "roasted lamb, smoked turkey, scotch eggs made with maple turkey sausage, greens salad with shaved aged chèvre, maple glazed carrots, shrub vinegar drink, dandelion wine, and Pet de saer with blueberry compote, served with fresh whipped cream. "We looked at what we wanted to eat, what we had available to us as far as resources, and designed a meal around that," said Gloria Varney.
